with your team

The facilities leading on reablement stand out.

The Strengthened Aged Care Standards have raised the bar. Reablement isn't a "nice to have" anymore. It's something you need to be able to point to, document, and explain. To regulators. To families. To your board.

Most facilities we walk into have the funding and the floor space. What they're missing is the structure.

That's what this workshop builds.

Everything you need to launch, ready in two weeks.

The workshop is designed to take you from "we need a reablement program" to "here's our program, here's what it costs, here's how it runs" in one short engagement.

Four hours on-site with Dane and Michael. Six deliverables in your inbox within two weeks. A program your team can launch, your families recognise, and your board can sign off on.

Regulatory Alignment

Gym & Space Design

A floor plan and 3 costed equipment tiers for your available space. From $3k essentials to full rehab gym.

Program Structure

Groups, 1:1 criteria, user-pay pathways and inclusion criteria, structured so staff can deliver it consistently.

Client Experience

A clear resident journey from admission to participation that families understand and managers can explain.

“We knew reablement needed to become a stronger and more visible part of our identity, but we lacked a clear roadmap. The workshop gave us practical clarity — where we sat against benchmarks, what a structured program should look like, and how to position it in a way that residents, families and staff could understand.

Leaving with a defined program concept, gym layout and equipment costings tailored to our sites meant we could move straight into implementation rather than spend months developing it internally.”

Dane Mitchell

Dane started Optimum in 2013 with a single gym in a regional town. The brief was simple. Build a physio service for aged care that actually worked in the real world, not just on paper.

12 years on, the team runs programs across more than 50 facilities in NSW, VIC and QLD. Dane still spends a big chunk of his week on-site, talking to managers, sitting in on family meetings, and watching what's working and what's not. That's where this workshop came from.
